Thirsty Plants

Thirsty Plants is a small project made for our then-new workspace in Madrid, Espacio Ucrania. A set of sensors monitors soil humidity and each plant tells you, in its own voice, when it needs water.

No more hovering over the pots — they ask when they want something. Built with nothing but an Arduino, an MP3 sound shield, a small speaker and a handful of soil moisture sensors.
