We are fair! Interactive Space «PANORAMA»

Back to Madrid, this time for WE ARE FAIR!, the city's international emerging art fair. The fair sets out to give weight to new artistic directions: new exhibition spaces, new artists and projects exploring new ground. It is a place for creative exchange and for building networks, organised across four sections.

IED Madrid invited us to intervene in a space — specifically the reception of the Hotel Exe Central, where the fair was held. We proposed an interactive piece in light, naturally, called «PANORAMA». Taking advantage of the exposed beams running right through the middle of the reception area, we installed fifty metres of LED, stereo sound and a control stand.

The idea was that visitors could control the lighting of the space with their hands over the stand, where we placed a Leap Motion sensor.
